My 5th great-grandfather is Elijah Prewitt, born in colonial Virginia in 1758. He moved our family line to Madison County, KY in the 1790s. My line from Elijah is Henry, Daniel, Stephen, Roy, Forrest, Roy Gene.
I have some confidence that my line goes back to Henry Prewitt, 1658.
