I am a descendant of many pioneers of the Quebec, Canada area. My direct line moved to Cheboygan, Michigan in the 1860's and 1870's. The lines that moved to Michigan are Jarnac, Enos, Henault, Lafreniere, Lafrinere.

Watson- Settled in Cheboygan, Michigan.

Orton- I can only trace this line back to Alpena, Michigan. May have come from the Quebec area.

Gorsuch- migrated to Michigan from Pennsylvania.

Cole- My line is from Ipswich, Suffolk, England. They settled in Sarnia, Lambton, Ontario, Canada and then to Alpena, Michigan. Other descendant's have migrated to the Metro Detroit Area.

Campbell & Griffin - Settled in the Metro Detroit area from Ireland.

Brinkman- Came from Germany, settled in the Metro Detroit area.

My one grandmother was adopted, and I have information on her family that adopted her- O'Connor and Newmyer. Her biological line is related to the Lane's and Mauldin's.

These last names cover mostly up to my second great grandparents. I try to update as much as I can on my ancestor's pages so future family researchers can find it.

I am willing to take transfers, with my family names. Otherwise, I might request a lot of edit's with these surnames. I will only transfer a family name if that person is closer related then I am.
