Bio

Hi, my birth/given name is Julius Guy George. My great grandfather was Julius, my grandfather was Julius, and my father was Julius. My main interests of FindaGrave membership & usage is to make connection of my ancestors & descendants of the surnames: George, Andrews, Harrington, Glenewinkel Ingalls, Legates, Hopkins, Wright, McMullen, Thompson, Dyott, Browne, Bigger, Buckle/Buckel, Evans, Cain, Sayers, Cooke, Greening, Mendall, Sayer, Hallows, Evans, Garner, Palmer, Jewell, etc., and as well, of the surnames on the maternal side of my only sibling & daughter, Molly (Mary Caroline Sundh George) : Weaver, Sundh, Hutchinson, Persons, Cowles, McCarron, Bell, and Standish & Hopkins (Mayflower Voyagers). My oldest and most complete lineage is of Anthony Andrews who was granted the Coat of Arms in 1465 from the Herard College of Arms in London,England. Anthony's g,g,grandson, John Andrews, in 1654, immigrated from Bisbrooke, Rutlandshire County, England to the town, Providence (near Annapolis), British Colony of Maryland.
I believe that EVERYONE deserves to be remembered, long after their relatives that were around them in life have passed away and their memory kind of, just gets lost. That is why I love and respect this site, because we can make a record of someone that may have been forgotten, or their burial site was unknown, their ashes lost or their stone is broke, deteriorated or unreadable. Wouldn't YOU want to be remembered? I know I would.

Preserving and documenting history is important to me. I have nothing to gain in return other than a great feeling that someone that may have been lost, has been found again. And that is a great feeling!!
