My interested in genealogy started when my mother died, I suppose you could say I that I inherited it from her. She started back in the day before the internet. She did use the computer software to record her findings but that was also back in the day when the importance of citing your sources was not a priority. So now my goal is going through her records and finding the source material that she used and filling in those holes she was
challenged with. It turns out that mom was accurate in her findings and that makes achieving my goal easier.
I have over twelve years of experience, graduated from Boston University's genealogy research program, genealogy
certified from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, took the Introduction to Genealogy Research for DAR
Applications (GEP1) course, and have attended numerous genealogy conferences, webinars, and other related classes.
