Bio

I got started as a Family Historian about 28 years ago when I noticed a couple mistakes in a family pedigree chart a sibling gave to me. I found the correct information and continued to research even further back. It has become a passion for me. A cousin of mine has taught me a lot about the art of researching as well. I have become very good at quickly identifying and verifying persons I am looking for. Recently I got to visit a final resting place for many Rebel Patriots of the Am Rev War. The Monument on Rte 11 commemorizes A Battle known as the "Massacre at Wyoming Valley" My Great Great Grandfathers, Great Grandfather is named on the monument and his remains may be among the 96 sets of bones place in a vault there. My visit on 17 Aug 2016 was very moving and has inspired me even more to learn my families histories. Volunteering on Find-A-Grave is so rewarding because I love visiting old cemeteries and helping others out by photographing their family's plot. It's such a great feeling to come here to Find-A-Grave and be able to look at a loved ones memorial marker.
