I am a sixth generation South Carolinian, both from my Father's side (Brice) and my Mother's side (Salley). My ancestors migrated to this country from Scotland and Wales, settling into Charleston, Orangeburg and Fairfield Counties in the late 18th century. Many of my ancestors fought in the War of Northern Aggression. I enjoy researching family history and even though I currently reside in Georgia, my heart is always in South Carolina and I hope to return there soon.
