At the request of my father, John E. Skillman III, I have taken over management of his many sites after his death (06/10/2014) and will maintain these going forward.

My father was a family genealogist since 1967. Our Skillman line dates back to 1664 in America. He was a member of the National Genealogical Society, The New York Genealogical and Biographical Society, Sons of the American Revolution, the National Huguenot Society, and The Order of the Founders and Patriots of America. He was also President of the Skillman Family Association, Inc., and I am currently the Secretary of the SFA. He was also Project Administrator of the Skillman DNA Project.

Dad was a passionate genealogist and great fan of Find A Grave. He "met" several previously unknown cousins through this website. Nearly all of the memorials he has created on this website are for family or friends.

I will gladly transfer management upon request, if within Find a Grave protocol and your direct ancestor is not also a direct ancestor of mine.
