A genealogy bug bit my mom when I was a kid. Then it bit her sisters, then some of my dad's family caught the bug. So there was no escape back then, and now that generation is mostly gone and it has fallen to me to continue. My mother would have LOVED what Find A Grave has done to give access to a source of information on folks that we searched for on our 'grave hopping' vacations my entire childhood. I don't know who might pick up the torch when I'm gone, but hopefully the trail won't go cold.
