Bio

I have been actively involved with gathering and organizing my family genealogy/stories since 1997. My primary digital tool for the genealogical information has been Family Tree Maker. I use Microsoft Word and Lulu.com to preserve family stories and pictures.

This information includes family ancestors for the paternal/maternal trees of my ancestors and my spouses ancestors: Hofmann, Acrivos, Sell, Blasko.

This hobby has evolved into a long-term goal to preserve and share this collected information with present and future generations in a format that is easy to follow and readily available. Toward this end, I have found that the recent changes in the LDS site as "FamilySearch.com" really support my goals toward connecting genealogy, stories, pictures, documents and links to online references in a user-friendly and collaborative format. I can also rely on the long legacy of the LDS Church to preserve these records for future generations. I also like the partnerships that the site has with other on-line platforms like Ancestry.com, etc.

I also plan to using Find A Grave to document burial locations and obituaries for my ancestors. It like the way that I can hyperlink to each record from my trees in FamilySearch.
