Bio

The purpose of the Decatur County Last Indian Raid Museum is to collect the history of the county and preserve it for future generations. Our complex now houses sixteen buildings. These buildings depict a broad area of history from the earliest pioneers and their encounters with Native Americans to the developments in agriculture, education, transportation, commerce, social life and religious beliefs.
