I am a recently retired Crime Scene Detective who lives in the northwestern part of Connecticut. I enjoy photography and genealogy. I enjoy walking in the cemetery and reading the headstones that tell the story of these special lives once lived. I hope the photo's help to memorialize their history. I see so many headstones (1700's and early 1800's) that are "disappearing" with the weather elements. I sincerely hope this website and these photographs will keep the headstone from vanishing forever.
