Bio

USAF Veteran 1977-1985, Past Master (2015 and 2022) of Reading Lodge No. 549 F&AM of PA, Master Mason in Chandler Lodge No. 227 F&AM of PA, 32nd Degree Member of Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite NMJ Valley of Reading, Member of Rajah Shrine.

On entering any cemetery, a question of which I am reminded is, "Why do you seek the living among the dead." (Luke 24:5) A cemetery is hallowed ground, a final resting place for remains of a human being who has passed on to eternity. Our traditional memorials of bronze, marble, or granite, whether modest or ostentatious, may provide lasting evidence to inform others who linger on this mortal soil, yet many ancient cemeteries hold memorials long since weathered upon which there is little that can be gleaned. A digital memorial recorded on Find a Grave might be the only thing existing by which to remember; thus, creating and maintaining them is, as a biographer, a sacred trust.

With deep respect for the departed, my intention is to accurately document and share, as completely as possible, facts that can be learned in order that some comfort may benefit the living who often bear lasting and profound loss in their hearts. I've no reason to be possessive of any memorial added or managed that contains any details of a life lived by someone other than myself. May all who wander this way be richly blessed.
