I am a 61 years old Swede living in Stockholm. I have been tracking down my ancestors the last 40 years. Most of my family originates from the north of Sweden, mainly from Jämtland. Quite a number of my relatives did immigrate to the US around the turn of the century 1900 and I have been able to locate some of them, but I would be happy if I could get in contact with some of their offsprings. On my mother's side I know that my great grandfather Swan (Sven) Segerstrom, born in 1873, who lived in Concord, CA , had two kids and some grandchildren. On my fathers side I know that several people with Stromstedt as last name did move to USA and Canada from Sweden about 100 years ago, but I have not been able to track them down. Any help in this endevour would be grately appreciated!
