I was born and raised in Cole County, MO. I have been a genealogist since around 1989. My Hogg line came from Kentucky and settled in Cooper County, MO, around 1826 just a few years after Missouri became a state in 1821.

I have tested my DNA and found connections back to colonial Virginia, before America was even a country. I've had relatives fight in all of the wars which helped create this country.
