My father, David M. Shifflett is a retired funeral director. He worked for Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home in Odessa, Tx, and Morrison Funeral Home in Graham, TX . He retired in 2017 after 45 years in the funeral business. I would help him in the Summers when school was out. I guess you could say, I grew up in a funeral home, and surrounding cemeteries, that he would have to go to. I have always been fascinated with old cemeteries, and the history of them. I always liked walking them, and looking at the headstones, especially the ones with old photographs attached to them. As of now I live in Parker County, in the Poolville, TX area.
