I was born in Rolla, Missouri on 3 May 1943. My father was a career Army officer. I lived in Tennessee, Missouri, Maryland, Oregon, Austria, Texas, and Germany. After returning to the states, I started high school in Saint James, MO. After graduating I served in the army for three years and the air force for nineteen years. I had assignments in Japan, California, The Pentagon, Oklahoma and Illinois. My jobs were in communications and computers. After retiring I went to work for CSC as a Computer Programmer / Analyst on army and navy contracts. I retired in 2003 and moved back to Saint James, MO.
