My Father left his San Fransisco roots behind to raise his family in SoCal. This "distanced" me from my cousins, uncles and aunts and I grew up with an incomplete history of the family tree. I knew my Grandfather had a brother but, another brother? And two sisters too. I dropped by Find a Grave tonight and saw, for the first time, a photo of my Grandfather.
