I'm lucky in that my family - up to and including my great-great grandfather - knows where everyone is buried.

Even though I'm a native of Ohio, North Carolina is now my home and I wish to contribute anything I'm able in order that everyone's family buried in Forest Hill Memorial Cemetery will be able to find a photo and information of their loved ones.

Today is my first day (11/20/2013) of taking photos and I'll continue to do so until I'm not able!

At this time, there are approximately 10,000 grave sites, so my work is certainly cut out for me.

I've also decided to do this because, at the main office, there is no information about who lies where and it's very difficult to find a grave. It's my hope to alleviate that as much as I'm able. I intend to create a new map of the entire cemetery so the staff may rid themselves of the rudimentary one in place at the moment.
