My love of Find a Grave began when I stumbled across the memorial of a dearly departed loved one who is buried in Georgia, and for some reason there was no photo, of her grave, but of the graves next to her. I sent a direct message asking if he would take a grave photo, and was soon thrilled to actually be able to see her grave online. A decade later, I got into ancestry, and found many relatives that were buried in Georgia and Kentucky, some generations ago whom I never met. That sparked my love of creating memorials to enable others to find their loved ones as well.
