In 1968 received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with High Distinction from what is now the University Of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. Married in 1969 to childhood sweetheart. Had two children. Immediately after graduation began employment for the DoD in Newport, RI serving in various positions including electrical engineer, system engineer, project engineer and supervisory engineer. After 35 years retired from government service and began part-time employment as a US Navy engineering contractor working for McLaughlin Research Corporation, Middletown, RI. In 2012 retired from that position. Currently resides in Somerset, MA with wife of 49 years.
