My mother Joan Cordle Barnes died in September 1965, when I was 7 years old. Her father was Lawrence Cordle and her mother was Mabel Short Cordle Gallo. Mabel and my grandfather divorced and Mable remarried to Joseph Gallo and my grandfather Lawrence married Ann. Lawrence and Ann had a couple kids Linda, Junior and Ronnie. Joan is buried in the Lucas/Madden cemetery along with my father Charles Wesley Barnes (which he died in 1984 in Adrian, MI)in Hamlin, WVA.

I need help in locating my grandmother and finding some personal history on the Cordle side and Mabel's side.

If anyone can help me, I sure would appreciate it. Thank you. My father's side I can get a lot just not my mother's side Cordel's and whatever maiden name my grandmother had.
