When I was a Senior in High School my grandmother handed me about 20 pages of Hale and Chappell Family history. She said "this is important and you're the one to take this". I carried these with me over many years, and always kept them in a favorite childhood book in my important stack of books right next to my bed.
Ultimately, I joined Ancestry.com and started putting onto "paper" the family history I had; which was a lot! I was fortunate to know not only my grandmother and grand Aunt but my Great Grandmother and her sisters.. and much of our Hale family. And our family always talked about these people and told stories. If I can't remember exactly, I call my brother and he seems to be able to fill in the gaps!
I now live in Southern California, Newport Beach area and am happy to help with photo's in this area as well as the San Diego area. I do have a full time career so it may take me a while to fulfill, but I will do my best. Thank you all for all you do here. It's absolutely a fabulous tribute to those who have gone before us.
