Bio
My Virginia ancestry extends to April, 1619, when my 9th great-grandfather Dr John Woodson arrived in Jamestown from England with Governor George Yeardley and 100 others. Dr John Woodson and his wife Sarah settled up river in Flowerdew Hundred.
My maternal ancestors were from Henrico, Buckingham, Albemarle, and Fluvanna Counties.
My paternal ancestors resided for several centuries in the former Princess Anne County of Virginia (now part of the City of Virginia Beach).
In addition to the Woodsons of Virginia, I follow the surnames Thompson, Agee, Walker, Saunders, Chambers, Eaton, Whitehurst.
