Genealogy and old cemeteries are two of my favorite passions! I have been doing genealogy for nearly 30 years. Some family names are Lowe, Bush, Mathis, Herrington, Trest, Rushton, Soeller, Lovell, Angell, Carpenter, and Esmay.

I'm grateful to Find A Grave volunteers who have made it possible for me to view the far away graves of many ancestors. It is an honor to be able to do the same for others, and to have a small role in preserving the history in cemeteries. I am caretaker and historian for Ebenezer Cemetery in Milton, GA, where we had ground penetrating radar performed in 2019. I am also assisting in the same at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurel, MS, where 4 of my previous generations have been laid to rest.
