I started creating memorials on Find-a-Grave because of the amount of reference material I had collected doing family research. My family came from Austrian occupied Poland and Italy. They settled in the coal rich areas of western Pennsylvania, the panhandle of West Virginia and eastern Ohio. As I visit cemeteries seeking ancestors, I collect many photos of addition graves. While creating a memorial I strive to verify grave marker information, and provide information on parents, children, and spouses of the deceased. I spend considerable time validating family links. I enjoy the research.
