I have been in genealogy since the 1970's and worked in the LDS genealogy library in the 1980's. I have collected hundreds of thousands of names, inserting them into hand written databases of surnames. Each surname is alphabeticized by first name, and a few surnames have a spreadsheet index.
I inherited all the work my mother did on the WEIDNER; HOFFMAN; MOYER; etc names. Many of these surnames are not albeticized. But the extensive work I did on the BREIDEGAM; HIMMELREICH; FUCHS; ANTHONY; SCHWARTZ; REPPERT; BUCHER; and more, are.
All my work, I am putting on-line in the LDS family tree, (www.familysearch.org) correcting errors and tying in families. I hope to help www.findagrave.com persons to find deceased individuals, to connect to their family, and to help correct inadvertent errors.
