Bio

I'm a Mom of 3, work full time, and do genealogy as a hobby. I also help people find their biological families with AncestryDna, and any other tools I have. Find A Grave is another hobby I enjoy in my spare time, I'm also a member of the Lucas County Cemeteries Historical Association.

In your communications with me, please be gentle. Remember, these memorials do not magically appear. Rather, I am a volunteer who has donated my time and considerable efforts willingly - to help those looking for a piece of themselves, a bit of history. I set up memorials as accurately as I can, research folks, visit cemeteries, work with old records and cemetery caretakers, clean off markers with decades of built up dirt, take photographs and update the memorials with new or different information.

I am proud of my work, even when mistakes are made - and THEY ARE, I'm human. I do not respond well to demands or demeaning messages telling me all the things I haven't done, all the things I have done wrong or that I am not meeting your standards. Those messages will be ignored and reported. A simple word of thanks or appreciation goes so much further than a list of your complaints.

If you would like a memorial transfer, just send a message. I will be happy to transfer any memorial you may want. I am not related to 99% of these memorials, and do not know most personally. What information you see, is what I know usually. I just document in hopes that no one goes undocumented or forgotten, nothing more. Please send all edits through the suggested edit button, I usually accept all edits unless I have documented proof of different information. Any questions, please reach out, I may or may not know the answer but it can't hurt to ask. I try to reply to all messages, sometimes it takes me a while, please be patient.

Thanks- Ashley
