Bio

I have inherited the honor of being our family's historian and genealogist, from my loving mother, Dr. Ruby Martin and my maternal grandaunt, Minnie Ella "Doll" Perkins Palmer. I have posted our family tree on Ancestry.com, Familytreedna.com, Myheritagedna.com and FamilySearch.com.

I have done genealogy research on both sides of my family, for 12 years, and have entered the bio and burial information for these family members: Dr. Ruby Julene Wheeler Martin, Edward A. Martin Sr. , Alice Hester Martin Banks, Mrs. Pearl Dunn Wheeler, Coleman (Coley) Nelson Wheeler, Joseph Duval (infant), William C. Aarons Jr., Lonzo Renander Aarons, Jesse James Aaron, Iona Walker Aarons, Mrs. Viola DuVall Stewart, Nathaniel C. Stewart, Dr. Louis J. Stewart, Mrs. Minnie Ella Perkins Palmer, Mrs. Julia B. (Lance Perkins Gourdin) Dunn, Reuben Perkins Jr., Charles Henry Dunn, Louisa Burke Dunn, John Dunn Sr. , Ann McMahon Dunn, John P. Dunn, Jr., Viola Dunn, Estelle Dunn Wells, Caroline Burke Dunn, Ann Jenkins, Edna Gourdine, Edward L. Gourdin, Edward G. Gourdin (infant), Amelia S. Noisette Gourdine, Florence Gourdine, Helen Majorie Gourdine, Phillippe Stanislas Noisette, Rebecca Morris Smalls, Dorothy Sharpe Jackson, Beulah Shecut Haakmat, Elisabeth Haakmat Greene, Mary Margaret Ellerbe Greene, Clarence B. Williams, Jr., Eva Bell Swinton Greene, Edward Green, Sr. , Edward "Bubba" Greene, Claire Yvette Greene, Edena Greene Deas Morales, Calvin R. Greene, William "Billy" L. Greene, Karen Suzanne Deas, Janice Lavonne Greene, Vivien Lorenzo Deas, Sinia Thompson, Mildred Sentenberg Perry. . I have published several newspaper articles on my family's historical accomplishments and genealogy.

To help others find their ancestors, I also have helped other findagrave contributors, by volunteering to enter biographical information for dozens of profiles of those resting in Brotherly Cemetery in Charleston, S.C., who I am not related to, where many of my ancestors are also resting, sourced from their South Carolina death certificates.
