Bio

I began genealogy research in the late 1970s when my mother-in-law gifted me with a blank book entitled "The History of Our Family" prior to the birth of our first child. As I interviewed family members I filled in the book's blank pages. But I soon discovered that the memories these relatives shared led to unanswered questions. In 1980 I started compiling a genealogy "paper trail" for each relative interviewed. Today I have cabinets full of notebooks containing document copies, genealogy charts, compiled notes, and family photos going back generations. Find portions of my work on Ancestry under the user name HayslettMiller.
