Bio

I got involved with genealogy when my grandmother and her sisters and my mother began researching ancestors to join Daughters of the American Revolution in the 1960's. I come from a large family and all my grandparents came from large families and their stories are so interesting. I live in Texas but was originally from Ohio - born in Steubenville and raised in North Canton.
I have been researching these Ohio cemeteries for the graves of my relatives and ancestors: the Scroggsfield Presbyterian Cemetery, the Harlem Springs Cemetery, the Richmond Quaker Cemetery, the Richmand Union Cemetery, and the Smithfield Quaker and Friends Cemetery. I also have relatives interred in various cemeteries in Steubenville and Jefferson County, Ohio. The family names I am researching are: Sogan, Purviance, Robinson, George, Andrews, Polen.
