What brings me to FindAGrave? I am gradually compiling our family records and the genealogy research my father and grandfather did. In doing so, I have found I am utterly fascinated with the stories of each individual and feel like a time-traveling investigative reporter. I feel compelled to try and capture their stories to share with friends and family but I must say that it is a responsibility I rather enjoy! (I suppose it's a good thing that I really do enjoy researching archives and spending time in libraries and cemeteries!)

Primary Photo Request Locations:
O'ahu: I've recently relocated to Hawai'i as a student and am happy to help fulfill requests here in O'ahu. I also occasionally visit the neighbor islands and may be of assistance there too.
Oakland / SF Bay Area: Visits here are limited now as I no longer live in the continental US. I used to regularly visit Oakland's Mountain View Cemetery, walking the grounds to take in the lovely views and soaking up the rich history. While trying to fulfill a FAG Photo Request there, I inadvertently stumbled upon some of my own family members buried there. Go figure!
Eastern NC: I regularly visit family and friends here a couple of times a year.
Okinawa: Every couple of years, I also visit family in Okinawa and hope to start documenting some of our family graves there too. So, I may be able to assist with photo requests in Okinawa as well.

If I have taken any photos of graves of your family members or loved ones and you would like to use them, please feel free to do so. There is no need to ask for permission to use any of the photographs I've uploaded to FAG unless it is to be for commercial purposes. All I ask is that you please cite them. (This is particularly important in case someone else sees the photo and has a followup question or request to make. They'd need to know how to contact me!) If you are a friend or family member and message me, I may also have higher resolution copies or additional photos that were not posted to FindAGrave which I'd gladly email you.
