Roe's birth certificate listed only the name "Roe Lee, Jr.". I've never heard of the "E"that is listed on his memorial page. My mother always has said that his intended name was Taft Monroe Lee, Jr. His father was (Taft) Monroe Lee and his mother was Ida Davis Lee.

I was born October 24, 1948 in Waycross, Ga. I have one sibling, Brenda Gail Lee Hussey, born June 20, 1951 in Waycross, Ga.
