I was born in Brownsville, Texas, and met my husband, deceased since 1964, when he was stationed at Harlingen AFB going through cadet training. We were married in 1961 and had two children, Heather, named after his mother, Heather Whyte Eyre, and Kevin Jon.
We were stationed at Lincoln AFB, Nebraska when Mike was killed in a plane crash.
The children and I moved to California in 1965 and have lived here since then.
