Bio

Hello my tree roots friends;

My name is Rev. Robert Hickey

I have been a member of find a grave for many years, I have another account I cannot get to anymore as the E-mail address I had with it went out of business and I cannot remember my password therefore cannot get it. I started working on my family tree during my quiet times while taking care of my Mom of whom I took care of 24x7 for 7 years.there was a two year period that I was taking care of both my Mom & Dad 24x7 at the same time in my home. Yes it was a very hard and mentally draining but they took care of me and was with me when I came into this world and I was given the greatest gift as I was there holding them when they left this world. I had promised that neither of them would never go to a home, that I would take care of them. I lost my Mom on January 6, 2004 and my Dad a year later on January 9. 2005.

I finally went back doing the things I enjoyed helping people.

So now I am back at working on my family tree again and just started volunteering to take photos of stone requests, Well learning I should say.

I wish Find A Grave would send an E-mail saying that it was completed so we would know. I have not figured out yet how to contact them direct to make this suggestion.

Now with my free time I work on my tree and love walking through cemeteries especially the really old ones :-) Happy hunting....
