Bio

I've been a genealogist for over 25 years. I live in the Midwest and have a great fondness for history and the past. I've traveled extensively throughout Missouri, countless cemeteries, and all but a few County Courthouses in the entire state. My own family tree has a lot of intrigue (my way of describing adoptions, multiple marriages with names like Smith & Jones.) which caused me to get & be quite determined at the beginning. I have most of my database and library on paper. I'm working on getting this info on the computer/internet as time allows. I've worked in the legal field for 20 plus years and My Husband & I own & operate a Land & Title Company that's been in his family for almost 90 years. I now have my own research company where I basically find people. I've worked with attorneys, the courts, and various individuals finding people. This is such an exciting and rewarding endeavor I want to pinch myself every time I find a new fact, for myself or anyone. It's like a mystery or puzzle & I just love it! If I can help you out let me know. My areas of Concentration are: Missouri, Indiana, North Carolina, Military Civil War to Present, prison records 1880's to present, and land research back to the US patent.
