Since 1999, my husband and I have worked on our family genealogy. We have traced all lines of our family back at least five generations. My ancestors include nine Revolutionary War patriots: Isaac Rainey, Joel Lane, John Hinton Sr, Nathaniel Jones, and Joseph Langston (all with service in NC) as well as George Sutch, Jean Baptiste Chapoton, John Bailey, and Thomas Townsend (all with service in VA).
