Since relocating to a major city (solo) in my twenties, and the subsequent deaths of both my parents by age 32, I find comfort in researching my family lineage. Now in my 50's, and still solo, it gives me a sense of belonging to someone, a family, by reading the priceless information so many Find a Grave volunteers and family members have created. You have my SINCEREST DEBT OF GRATITUDE. And, maybe, by so doing, if we are all reunited in the after-life, I will at least have something to talk about with them by what I've discovered. All joking aside, thank G--oodness for this technology available to us now. It is so much simpler than going to libraries to get phone numbers and addresses to contact, for the proper authority of whom to write a letter, (with an enclosed SASE and personal check), only to wait weeks or months in hopes of the ever-so-slightest tidbit of information regarding a loved-one or family member.
