One of my general historic past times is photographing and transcribing headstones of the 1700s-1800s. I have also partaken of efforts to restore damaged and weather-worn headstones.

A great many poetic passages may be found on headstones of the 18th and 19th centuries, poetry that may not be found anywhere else. So, by documenting these headstones a quaint piece of ancient charm may be preserved for all to enjoy in the years to come.
