I have been interested in family genealogy for over thirty years and have researched many of my family lines including, Stroud, Shanks, Green, Black, White,McLaughlin, Clinkenbeard, Traxler, Metcalf, Mallory, King, Vandike, and also my husband's family: Powell, Guffey,Williams, Dale, Shultz and many others. It is a very rewarding hobby and people have been so willing to share information and photos. I could not possibly have traced back as far as I have on our lines without their help.
