Bio

I am a Minhinnick by birth and the paternal side the names are Minhinnick and Wollan (Vollan) Since Wollan is Norwegian the W is pronounced as a V. On my maternal side the name is Sizer & Taylor.

Please note, I don't like having someone link to my pages with the names spelled wrong nor do I like someone adding photographs without my permission as I have many to add and it takes time. I have some Vollan etc for the children of my great grandfather Peder Ole Wollan being spelled with the other 3 versions. Genealogy is hard as it is, and when someone posts wrong names it makes it harder. I refuse to change my pages to names that don't pertain to my family names. They might be related but due diligence in getting the name right is the only way to keep family history intact. I am Minhinnick and Wollan bloodlines n my paternal...my grandmother was a Wollan aka Vollan and my grandfather a Minhinnick that goes back to the 1400's to England - Tavistock area.

Hence why I have asked to take over graves on Find A Grave to keep the lineage straight and all in one place. Please do not be offended if you ask for a grave and I don't transfer it unless you are family. I have spent numerous hours doing the family history and working with another family member on it all. I also go over all suggestions to make sure the information is right so that dates and such don't get messed up. PLEASE don't add anything to my memorials unless you ask, I don't like death certificates and photos of 2 kids when neither child is identified. It takes up space for photos I want to publish. Please email them to me first so I can see if it fits the memorial. The memorial is personal to the family as to how they died. Don't take offence if I don't accept your suggestions right away. Feel free to email me with questions. Most of the memorials I manage are Family & Friends. PLEASE DO NOT POST DOCUMENTS on my family's memorials, but send them to be transcribed into the bio area. My living relatives ask that you please respect this request as not to debate what is allowed, but to show respect and dignity to our family. Thank you for respecting this.
