I am the eldest of eight children of Winfrey "Jay" Coop and Agnes "Belle" Groce Coop. My father was the youngest of twelve children of George Wintfrey "Wint" Coop and Julia Ann (Annis) Hood Coop. My mother was the third of four children of Emmett Leslie Groce and Hattie Mae Hughes Groce Johnson. I was born in Peytonsburg, Cumberland County, Kentucky; moved with my parents to Indianapolis, Indiana when I was 2 years old. I am a Registered Nurse, retired after working 40 years. My husband and I were married 63 years when he passed away; we have four sons, Jeff, Jim, Jon, & Joe.
