I have been researching my family lineage for years. Like many folks researching their ancestry, I have hit more than one dead end. I have learned that a lot of memorials have people attached to them that are false connections, and that stems from people not doing their homework correctly. So, if using this site for hints or information, do not take what you see on here as the facts or truth. Do your homework and verify everything. For example, one of my gr-gr-grandmothers was listed as being Full blooded Cherokee. She was not, but one of her sons did get his "$5 Indian" (google the term) ticket and his descendants are receiving NA benefits

All memorials that I manage are my direct relatives, Please do not leave comments containing Private and personal information about any of my family members on their Memorials. Do not add Death Certificates to any of my memorials, as those contain too much information for the general public and Identity Thieves. If I want such information on my family memorials, I will put it there myself.

Not trying to be ugly, but too many folks out here are creating memorials for folks whom they are not related to, and it makes it hard to get those relatives transferred to actual relatives. These Memorials should not be about WHO HAS THE MOST MEMORIALS. Please consider the families and don't be so ugly when they ask for a transfer of the memorial of a relative, especially if you have no connection to the person in the Memorial. IF someone was a Distant aunt or uncle and someone who is a direct descendant of the person, why not let them have the memorial when it is their Direct lineage and they probably knew the person when they were alive.

I am always willing to go search out gravesites in my area for people and send them the requested photos. This site has been of great resource in my search for my own lineage!
