Hello! I am interested in genealogy, but also history and how we can relate to it!

My earliest interest in my ancestry started when my grandma sent me materials for a school project when I was a child.

Some of my earliest memories involve a cemetery that my mom would ride through with me on the back of her bike. I inherited an appreciation for them as my parents enjoyed exploring towns and cemeteries were a part of that. We liked seeing how old the sites were, reading the names of the people, learning what we could about their lives and their era from their headstones. As an artistic person, I also appreciated the aesthetic of some cemeteries, the headstones and monuments.

I've been on Find-A-Grave for quite a few years and am grateful for what it can give us. I will try to give back when possible through photographs and information.
