I am a member of Meador and Basham families of Franklin County, Va; Kidd and Silvers families of Pulaski, Montgomery and Franklin Counties Va.
Additionally I am a member of Bowie of Roanoke County, Botetourt and Franklin Counties. The Bowie family came to southwest Va from Rapphannock Va and prior to that they were in Charles County Md.
I am also a Gish of Botetourt and Roanoke Counties. This family came to Virginia from Lancaster Pa and prior to that came via ship from Germany to settle my home valley of Roanoke. The Gishes were millers and founded the town I call home, Vinton Va.
