Bio

Sole son of Ellis County-born and -bred Myrtle Francis Gorman [Johnson/Fogleman], I consider the Byrd/Rankin/Bardwell/Ennis area to be my ancestral homeland (despite having been born on a federal military reservation: Fort Eustis, VA). As they say: "While I wasn't born in Texas, I got here as soon as I could" (that being 1949).

I proudly served the citizens of Ellis County and the State of Texas as the elected Constable of Justice Precinct 2 (3 after redistricing in 1991) from November of 1988 through January of 1992. During that time my personal and professional integrity was assailed by my adversaries, as I would not turn a blind eye to the incompetence and corruption within the city and county governments I fought for the good of the people. I have no regrets; and the miscreants will get their justice when they stand before the Lord's Judgment Seat.

I later served all the citizens of the state as a Security Policeman (f/k/a "Air Police") with the Texas Air Guard; wherein I was an Honor Guard Team member at JRB Carswell in Fort Worth.

I am now retired and enjoying it!
