Bio

I have been a photographer since before 9th grade when i took it up seriously as an Art form. I have been a "Forrest Gump" of Photography in my life's journey. Was a photography Art student under Dick Wolfgang in Flushing Michigan at Flushing High School. I quit school( dumb move/ smart move) and joined the U.S. Army. I was tested and was found to have a talent with electronics and was able to pick my job after volunteering for 3 years. MOS=17L20 Airborne Sensor Specialist, electronic sensor operator, Synthetic Imagery tech. Aerial Photography , Side Looking Airborne Radar, True Infrared Photography, Forward panoramic Aerial Photography, and oblique photographic "belly" camera operator in a Grumman Ov-1C and D Mohawk Aircraft. Ended up with the 101st Airborne Div and also did hand held Military Graflex Camera while standing on a Huey Skid..Awesome fun. Honorably discharged from army and went to work for National school studios out of Kentwood , Michigan... on to Phoenix Arizona where I worked for Imperial School studios in Phoenix and covered most of the Navaho lands in Arizona and the north west parts of New Mexico. Back to Flint Michigan where I worked for 14 years for "On-The -Town Magazine, Working for Harry McVey publishing. Then on to McLaren Hospital where I preformed medical and surgical Photography. That is a brief example of employment for others. In between and after was self employed freelance and event photography. I am now living in Lawrence, Kansas. I moved here from Flint/ Flushing , Michigan in 2010.
