Maybe I'm a bit weird, but cemeteries interest me. I don't find them macabre, creepy, depressing or scary so since I like looking around at them, learning local history, etc., I figured volunteering to help others by photographing headstones, locating graves and other information and the like was something I would enjoy.

Obviously, I'm very new to Find a Grave but I will endeavor to do my best in fulfilling photo requests or supplying whatever other information you ask of me. I'm still learning how the system here works, and am not yet confident how to perform transfers, etc. Please be patient with me while I become acquainted with the guidelines and methods, as I don't want to step on any toes.

I am also especially interested in information regarding my family: The Kowalski family of Moorhead (Fred "Fritz" G. Kowalski, his wife Helen Kaiser Kowalski, etc), the family of Nils and Adeline (Hanson) Reitan, etc. I've been researching my family on and off for a couple of years now, and have found some neat information, pictures, etc., but I would like to go back further, learn more, etc. Also, if anyone is seeking information on the Kaiser, Kowalski, Nemzek, Reitan, and Hanson families from the Fargo-Moorhead area, I may have information to share with you (very little info on Nemzek & Kaiser at this point), so please ask. :)
