My husband and I have a daughter and 2 sons and 2 wonderful grandsons with a granddaughter on the way. We are both cancer survivors.

As a young girl, my maternal grandparents and mother would spend Memorial Day visiting various cemeteries where family members reside. While they visited with family and friends they would meet, I would entertain myself by walking the tombstones and reading the different insciptions. Some of them can be quite entertaining or thought provoking. The ones for children or babies were always the ones I looked for the most.

When I found Find-a-grave's website, I decided that this was something I could do to help preserve our heritage.
