Bio

Finished Grass Valley HS, California Jun 1951. My official date of enlistment in USAF 4th of July 1951. Retired April Fool's day 1975. Early years as a radio operator, retrained into communications maintenance where over the years I worked shift maintenance, installation, deployment and even as a technical instructor. Managed to get into all 50 states with five years in Alaska, including one year on the Bering Straits at a remote site called Tin City, plus another year at Shemya AFS in the Aleutians (next to last island in the chain just east of Attu). Had another five years in Asia including such prime spots as Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Taiwan and Philippines. Retired as E8 (SMSgt), AFSC T30496. Got BA from Eastern Washington University and worked another 22 years as an electronics technician. Met and married my lovely wife Dee. We have two daughters, Karissa 1993, Selena 1998. And I have one additional daughter from an earlier marriage: Denise 1957.
