I am the son of Joseph Andrew Gauthier born in Boston on 7/7/1910.
My Great grandfather was Augustus Gauthier Larouche born in Napierville, Quebec, Canada in 1845, his wife was Delehine Bellefleur born in St. Remi, Quebec, Canada in 1846. They were married in Norwich, Conn in 1868.There were 9 children born to my great Grandfather's family. My Grandfather was Antonio Augustus Gauthier born in 1879 in Putnam, Conn. He was the 5th child born to the family. He married Margaret Anna Fay from Natick, Ma. They had 7 children
My father was in the US Army from 1942-1946. My father's 1st wife was in 1936 to Mary Szadaj from Boston. My father's 2nd marriage was to Barbara Goodridge from Plainfield, VT in 1948. Joseph married my mother Dorethea Shaw in November of 1951 in Hampton, NH.

On my mothers side of the family my grandfather was Owen Alfred Shaw born in 1889 in Levant, Maine. The Shaw family served in the the Battle of Bunker Hill and I am a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. The Shaw family was born in Boston starting around 1925. There birth name of some of the children was Nugent, and they were later adopted my Owen Shaw. This is actually a false record as the birth certificates all list Owen Shaw as the birth father.
